From China's statistics department prediction, by 2018, China will have the biggest demand for import food in the world.
Approximately 300 million new population for cities will be the new dynamic for import food supply, storage and service. Compare to their parents, the young generation is more willing to try foreign food and recipes. More and more food that suit the taste of foreigners have popped out in Chinese first tier cities, it creates the illusion of as if foreigners are still in their home country. Instead of choosing Chinese made food products, first tier cities' consumers in China look for safer, better and different food products.
Last exhibition attracted 2,150 exhibitors from 66 countries, including 39 countries and areas' official exhibition group and 66,561 experts. This year, the exhibition will again divide from food characteristics and countries, areas include: tea and coffee area; meat area; chocolate area; wine and spirit area. Fruit & Vegetable and Dairy will be the 2 new areas.
